About a thousand years ago, Jaguar Paw was renowned as a great leader of Maya Indians. Today the name is gaining fame again, this time as the jungle resort. We have the natural wonders of primitive Belize at our doorstep by day, and after the sun goes down, you can enjoy the modern comforts, indeed luxuries of our first class resort.

On
the 200-acres of Jaguar Paw are the mouths of three awesome
caves with vestiges of their use by Mayan ancestors. Guests
aided by a knowledgeable guide can stalk the jungle paths
for signs of wild animals, spot some of the more than 500
species of birds and hear about the jungle ghosts from the
Belizean Bushmen who believe in them. And, not far in either
direction from the resort are ancient ruins awaiting exploration.
